Most of the year we have been running on the same set of tires while working on the balance of the car. We finally got to show what the car could do. We had a bad fast car last night after finally getting new tires on! Fastest car in practice by a tenth and fastest car of all the heat races. Started 15th in the feature and passed a bunch of cars early on. Some unfortunate racing incidents forced us to check up and a missed shift in front of us on the last restart cost us some valuable positions on the final green run. Unfortunately the balance wasn’t the same toward the end of the race but still a great showing for the 50 finishing 8th. Last night likely puts a wrap on the season at Stafford. We accomplished the 2024 goal of getting the new car on track, showing speed, and getting comfortable with the adjustments and balance of the car. We will take a look at the schedules for Waterford and Thompson toward the end of the year to see if there is an opportunity to make an appearance. If not, see you in 2025! 🏁 ... See MoreSee Less
